At the Geneva Motor Show 2016, the premiere of the new Abarth 124 Spider based on the Fiat 124 Spider model, which debuted in the fall of 2015 at an exhibition in Los Angeles, took place. Both models are built on the fourth generation Mazda MX-5 chassis.

You can distinguish Abarth 124 Spider 2017-2018 from a simpler version of the model by a different front bumper with different foglight sections, four round exhaust pipes, additional air intakes in the bumpers, and the presence of side skirts.
